As an adult, Neil discovered he could share this vision with others—helping them see and understand music as he did. This breakthrough unlocked an entirely new way of learning, enabling students to play great-sounding music quickly and effortlessly.

Over decades, Neil transformed this natural gift into a structured and comprehensive music education curriculum. He didn’t stop there—he codified his methods into a training system that empowers educators to teach his approach. For nearly 25 years, Neil has been leading Simply Music, a global pioneer in playing-based music education.
